Seminar Abstract
As companies expand, merge and devolve to maximise their business potential, it is imperative that their IT infrastructure remains fluid and dynamic. The infrastructure must be capable of integrating heterogeneous systems and providing flexible working solutions, cross-platform identity management, authentication and security.
In this seminar we examine the challenges of stretching the boundaries to provide integration between UNIX/Linux and Microsoft Windows platforms, including multiple Active Directory forests. We will drilldown into the issues of cross-platform interoperability, single-sign-on authentication and authorization. Solutions will be provided for identity management and provisioning across multiple directories utilizing Microsoft Identity Integration Server.
The seminar is packed with comprehensive demonstrations involving MIIS, ADAM, AD, Linux, Kerberos, ADFS and more…
Who should attend?
The seminar is designed for senior administrators, system architects and system integrators who want to know how to integrate heterogeneous environments. This will be essential for both UNIX/Linux and Windows personnel.
Prerequisites
The seminar provides real technical detail and assumes a working knowledge of directory concepts.
The seminar is not suitable for personnel engaged in basic day-to-day administrative tasks.
